A casual walk-up counter service fish and chips place in the old quarter of Limerick. I would be hard pressed to find a more original interior using an actual VW van adolescence played that says chips. The effort envision that went into that alone makes it worth trying out the food. Bravo.
Chippy Chicken is absolutely amazing! I’ve bought chicken and chips from here several times and it’s always really good. The food is affordable, the staff are friendly, and everything is well organized. I also tried the burger and chips and it was delicious. Honestly, these are the best chips I’ve ever had in Limerick. Highly recommend!
Huge addition to the Limerick food scene.
First up the food, here it’s all about great produce full of flavour. It’s consistently great. The menu is simple and uncomplicated but no matter the combinations you’re guaranteed a really solid meal. The chicken strips are tender, real chicken.
The value for money is good in comparison to some of the big chains in the area.
The staff are capable, prompt and mannerly, a credit to the establishment.
It’s very clean with a colourful and funky record with the back of a van as the counter. I’d recommend for tasty, quick and great quality food at a good price.
